Musical Arts

Longitudinal data of 25,000 students demonstrate that involvement in the arts in liked to higher academic performance, increased standardized test scores, more community service, and lower dropout rates, according to Americans for the Arts. These cognitive and developmental benefits are reaped by students regardless of their socioeconomic status.

An active volunteer organization, Bexley Music Parents, provides support and resources for music students to take part in competition, tours and arts events. Bexley students perform in a number of winter concerts in December. Visit the district Events Calendar page for details.
