Substitute Teaching
Bexley uses the Aesop (Automated Electronic Substitute Placement Program software) system to schedule substitute or guest teachers. Those interested in applying to substitute in Bexley City Schools must complete the online application process through the ESCCO (Educational Service Center of Central Ohio): visit here; select “New Substitutes” and select the substitute teaching application, “Job ID: 3955." English Teacher (.51 FTE) & Instructional Aide (.49 FTE. Aide position through the ESC) 
Middle School
Prefer candidate with 5+ years of teaching experience. Will teach 3 periods of 7/8 grade English Language Arts with the remainder of the day as an aide supporting students in the general education or small group setting. Intervention Specialist 2017/18
 2 Positions available: Maryland Elementary and Cassingham Elementary

Candidates must be Highly Qualified in Reading and Math. Preference given to candidates with training or certification in systemic multi-sensory reading instruction. Educational Aide (Position through the ESC) 2017/18
High School
Must have or be eligible to obtain a current Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. This teacher aide for the English Resource Center (ERC) must possess the capacity of intervention and assistance for students who struggle with basic literacy and composition skills. The ERC Aide will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the ERC, including outreach to other classes and documentation of services provided. In addition the ERC Aide will supervise the student tutoring corps. Bus Driver  

Salary range from $19.82 - $21.30/hour based on experience with a minimum of 20 hours. Send letter of interest and resume to Art Banks, Supervisor of Busing, at art.banks@bexleyschools.org.  
 
In Search of Subs
Substitute employees are always welcome in Bexley City Schools. Please share your skills and talents and serve our students when our regular staff members need to be away.  

Subs in the Food Services area work two or three hours during lunch times at all three school buildings.  Food Services is  always seeking upbeat, team oriented, people to serve our students. Apply though the Central Office (614-231-7611) or by contacting Amy Nance.
