Intervention Specialist - Mild to Moderate and/or Moderate to Intense

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current K-12 Intervention Specialist license Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate to Intense
• Must have experience working with students with social emotional needs.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Crisis Prevention and Intervention knowledge and training are required.
• Highly Qualified in English and Mathematics, or ability to obtain within the first year.
• Knowledge of data-based interventions to address mental health disorders in the school setting.
• Experience collaborating with families, teachers, staff, mental health professionals, and related services personnel.
• Experience developing, monitoring, and collecting data for students' Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
• Experience developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing and collecting data for Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Ability to lead collaborative team meetings with students, families, and staff for the betterment of students and their growth.

Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience
