Kindergarten Registration Opened February 8th
Incoming Kindergarteners began registering online with Bexley City Schools on February 8, 2019. Students must be 5 years-old by August 1st to enter the full-day program at Bexley City Schools. If you believe your child may be ready for early entrance to Kindergarten, you can learn more about the process to apply for consideration on the Bexley website. Cassingham invites rising Kindergarten parents to learn more about our Kindergarten program during our orientation evening, April 25th at 6:30pm. In order to set staffing patterns, we are encouraging all parents/guardians to complete this process by April 30, 2019.
3rd grade spotlight in the Art room
The third graders are connecting their art to story teller and artist – Faith Ringgold who wrote and illustrated a book called, Tar Beach. In the book Faith writes of a little girl who can magically fly over things in her hometown and she would own them. She flew over the George Washington bridge and over an Ice Cream shop. Students will draw themselves flying over their local landmarks.
Valentine's Day & Bravo Projects
