In celebration of Memorial Day, all Bexley Schools are closed tomorrow. Monday, May 27th.
We celebrated our final session of ECC (Every Cub Counts) on Friday. Many families engaged in a final STEM challenge to design a boat with some interesting materials; we had a good, if wet time with this activity! It was a bittersweet moment for our ECC families as we recognized our 5th grade family members will be heading to the middle school. These Cassingham graduates will be celebrated on Thursday during their morning graduation and afternoon party. Our school is so proud of who these Cubs are and the impact we know they will have on our communities. Last Thursday's Exhibition was a brilliant reminder that our world is in very capable hands.
Food Service Department to Implement New Student Payment System
The Food Service Department will be utilizing a system that will reduce wait times and streamline our service. This system allows students to make a purchase with the touch of their finger, eliminating the need to memorize a 6-digit code. A finger scan will be used to generate a unique pattern in our system that is then paired with a code connected to their food service account. Please note: this system does not collect or store images of fingerprints and the scanned pattern cannot be used to recreate a fingerprint in any way or by any entity.

End of the year events:
Cassingham's Cub Recognition Gathering - May 29th, 10-11:30AM, Cassingham Theater, parents are welcomed to join us; there's seating in the balcony.
5th Grade Graduation; Thursday, May 30th, 9AM-10AM, Highschool/Schottenstein Theater
Our entire school attends this gathering. Our graduates will sit in the first three rows in the center section of the HS theater; parent seating is reserved behind the graduates. Students sit along the side sections and in the balcony of the theater.
Super Games: Thursday, May 30th, 10AM-3PM. Students will be active and should dress for running. Sunscreen, tennis shoes and waterbottles are important!

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade will have the morning experience of organized games and athletic challenges, Grade 3 and 4 will have the afternoon. The AM time commitment for adult volunteers is 9:45 to noon and the PM shift from 12:45 to 3:00.
