May 20-24 Updates

Friday’s CubGathering was a remarkable celebration of learning; a sampling of 5th graders shared their research findings and action steps from their self-guided, culminating research project.   One child encouraged our entire school to wear blue in support of acceptance and autism awareness; others challenged us to tackle food insecurity by successfully completing a food drive of over 1,000 items.  Mr. Schottner an Mr. Landis took pies to the face to demonstrate their support of this effort.  We call this project “The Exhibition,” as it is an opportunity for our students to exhibit all they’ve acquired from their elementary school experience here.  There was cheering, there were photos, and all of that excitement was generated by research and action projects, WOW!  This Is Cassingham.  We are proud to invite you to see all of the student’s efforts on Thursday, May 23rd.

5th Grade Exhibition, May 23rd
