Cassingham Complex, Centralized Entrance:
A reminder that our complex opens with the arrival of our entrance attendant at 7:45AM. Should students or parents need to enter the complex earlier, be sure to plan with a faculty member to meet you at the main entrance. Otherwise, we ask that parents wait until 7:45 when the main entrance attendant can begin sign-in procedures for the day. Children can enter their student ID into the key pad and enter the building.
Going Home for Lunch Details:
If your child has your permission to leave the building for lunch on any given day please send a written note to the classroom teacher. This results in your child being placed on the “Going Home for Lunch” list that day and enables them to exit the building without being signed out. You can meet them outside or they can walk home. When returning, they should enter the building at the Main Entrance. This procedure also applies to students participating in Meals on Wheels.

Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries, history professor at The Ohio State University and lead historian for the National Civil Rights Museum, will lead this helpful conversation. You will not want to miss this workshop designed to teach parents & caregivers of all backgrounds how to recognize opportunities to engage in conversations with their children about race and racism.
