05/28/2025Description: Intervention Specialist for Extended School Year (ESY) Summer 2025 ONLY
Minimum Qualifications: - Must hold a valid Ohio teaching license for Intervention Specialist (K-12) or valid Ohio teaching license
- Valid Ohio Reading Endorsement (PreK-12)
- Certified in Orton Gillingham (OG)
- Satisfactory criminal background check in accordance with Ohio law.
- Such alternatives to the above as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:- Instruct students with individualized education programs (IEPs) on their goals and objectives determined for ESY by their IEP team
- Responsible for planning, instruction, data collection and communication with families
- Securing the safety of students and reporting their progress
*Daily hours: 8:00 am to 11:00 am
This position is for the 2025 extended school year only. Must commit to at least one full week of the dates below:May 28, 2025: Orientation 4-6 pm
June 10-12, 2025
June 24-26, 2025
July 8-10, 2025
July 29-31, 2025Rate of pay $50.00 per hour
