Description: 
School Counselor (1.0 FTE) beginning in the 2024/2025 school year

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 Year Professional Pupil Services License, experience in high school preferred

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Works within the four person counseling department;
• Supports students', academic, social/emotional, and career planning;
• Counselors work directly with students on college planning, where applicable;
• Counselors are Case Managers for students with 504 plans;
• Counselor caseload is determined by alphabetical sort working across all grade levels 9-12;
• Crisis triage and response skills;
• Strong collaborative skills;
• Restorative practices training/skills;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks based on need;
• Ability to cultivate a community that values diversity and equity.

Salary and Range:
Commensurate with education and experience

Principal of Secondary Schools
