April 8-12 Updates

Cassingham eCubReporter for April 14, 2019

If you have concerns regarding your child's access (or their peer group's) access to and use of social media platforms and electronic communications, please consider attending Thursday evening's talk by Jesse Weinberger.  She will present powerfully helpful information for educators and parents as we work through this ever-evolving landscape.

Keep in mind this is an ADULTS-ONLY event April 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the High School's Schottenstein Theater. Weinberger will share how to keep students of all ages safe in a digital society. Topics will include media literacy, cyberbullying, sexting, sexual predation and practical strategies to implement at home. You can register at https://bex.fyi/Jesse

Bexley Schools are closed Friday, April 19th

Kindergarten & New Student Enrollment

Kindergarten Registration continues through our district homepage.  Kindergarten Orientation for Cassingham parents will be Thursday, April 25th at 6:30pm in the Cassingham Theater.  If you know of families who are planning to enroll children of any age, please let them know our process begins online: https://www.bexleyschools.org/studentregistration.aspx

Meals on Wheels & Cassingham

The Cassingham community  partners with LifeCare Alliance’s Meals on Wheelsprogram to help keep our aging neighbors in their homes...where they want to be.  Our students will have the opportunity to see the “good” they are doing for their community when they participate in presenting a hot meal to someone in need.

We will hold a 45-minute training session on Thursday, April 25 at 8:15 AM in the Cassingham Complex Community Room.  Please bring your driver's license and auto insurance card.  If you are interested, please email our Meals on Wheels Liason, David Schottner at [email protected] so we know how many people to expect at training.

Summer Academy

Summer Academy registrations are now open and posted on the Bexley Schools website. You'll find the link to the webpage under Find it Fast on the district page and on each of the school webpages.
