News from Grade 1
Cassingham first graders will celebrate the 100th Day of School this week by participating in a service project to help meet needs within their community.  Each class will make 100 sandwiches that will go into 300 sack lunches packed by the Kindergartners.  The lunches will be delivered to Faith Mission and the Broad Street Food Pantry.  The children will learn about and use the assembly line method (that Henry Ford developed to make the Model T automobile) to make the sandwiches.  They will participate in many other fun activities throughout the day to celebrate that they are "100 Days Smarter!"
