5th Grade Graduation has been moved to 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 28.
Kindergarten Dates:
- May 2 – K parent orientation (Parents only)– 6:30 in the Montrose Library
- June 5 – Kindergarten play date on the Montrose Playground – 6:00 to 7:00
- July 3 – Kindergarten play date on the Montrose Playground – 6:00 to 7:00
- August 7 – Kindergarten play date on the Montrose Playground – 6:00 to 7:00
- August 8 – New Parent Orientation – 6:30 in the Montrose Library
- August 13, 14, 15 – Kindergarten Staggered start
- August 16 – first full day for all Kindergarten students
Bexley
Carnival- May 18
Bexley High School’s Key Club is conducting their second annual Bexley Carnival. The Carnival is a community event with booths displaying the work Bexley’s high schoolers have done. In addition, they will have food and games.
This
is all in an effort to raise money for the Buckeye Clinic in South Sudan. The
Buckeye Clinic has the mission to improve the health of persons living in Piol,
Twic East County, South Sudan, and surrounding villages with a primary focus on
maternal and child health.
The
Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Bexley
High School.

Internet Safety with Jesse Weinberger – ADULTS ONLY
The Bexley Parent
Institute is hosting author and cyber-expert, Jesse Weinberger at an
ADULTS-ONLY event April 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the Schottenstein
Theater. Weinberger will share about how to keep students of all ages safe in a
digital society. Topics will include media literacy, cyberbullying, sexting,
sexual predation and practical strategies to implement at home with your

Party
Join
us at United Skates of America on 3362 Refugee Rd Columbus 43232 on April 8
from 6:30 to 8:30 for a Montrose Skating party. Admission is $2.00 and skate
rental is $3.50
State
Testing continues this week
Make sure your student is well fed and present in school on the days of testing. If your child needs to make up a test, this will be arranged after your child returns to school. Make up must occur during the make-up widow. Testing is done on a computer and will take 75-90 minutes per test. If you have any questions about testing fell free to contact Dr. Gage or your child’s classroom teacher.
