Dear families,
It’s important to frequently press pause and enjoy the moments before us. This week and weekend have been absolutely picturesque with our autumn in central Ohio. The weather has been perfect, the leaves are brilliantly changing, and students are learning so much.
Thank you for the time that you and our staff gave this past Thursday for Parent Teacher Conferences. We look forward to hosting them again this upcoming Wednesday evening. Please, please make sure you sign up for a conference, if you haven't done so already. We gain valuable insight about how things are going at home as well as an opportunity to share what we are experiencing here at school. We value your time and need time to connect with you.
We will not have school on Friday, October 16, 2020. This will be a professional learning day for staff to spend time on our instructional goal work specifically around anti-racist practices, our Panorama data (social emotional learning survey), and time to ensure we have specific plans for closing academic gaps for our students. We know it is hard to have one more day away from school but this time is critical for our staff. Our teachers need to continue their own learning and development to be the very best educators they can be for our students.
I hope that you have a spectacular week and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Please take care of yourself. Get outside, find time to breath, watch the leaves, and revel in the moments of fall.

This week our Montrose students in grades 2-5 received their Chromebooks! Our teachers also received classroom sets of headphones for our students. We are SO FORTUNATE to have this opportunity to be 1:1 with devices. Our next roll out after Chrombook distribution will be iPads for grades kindergarten - 1st. Thank you, BEF!!!

GET ON YOUR FEET! Virtual 5K to Support Bexley Music Programs
