We are so happy to welcome our students back tomorrow! Teachers and staff have been working diligently to prepare over the last two days. We know that some students will be nervous and others excited. No matter what, our Montrose staff are ready to greet them warmly and welcome them back to the building with big smiles.

Is your 4th or 5th Grader participating in Band or Orchestra?
5th GRADE BAND
AM 5th Grade Band students will have band on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:15-11:50 a.m. in the gymnasium. These students will go directly to band in the gymnasium after school to set up for band. After band, they will go home for lunch.
PM 5th Grade Band students will have band on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:55-12:30 p.m. in room 15 (band room next to Mrs. Labita's music room). They will need to eat lunch prior to coming to school at 11:55 p.m.
4th and 5th GRADE ORCHESTRA STUDENTS
4th and 5th Grade AM (morning) students will stay after school to participate in Orchestra from 11:30-12:25. They are more than welcome to bring a snack, bring a lunch, or purchase Montrose lunch on Mondays (for 4th graders) and Thursdays (for 5th graders). Orchestra will promptly begin at 11:30 with instruments ready. We will have staff supervising students prior to Orchestra's 11:30 start time in the orchestra locations (4th grade Mondays in gymnasium and 5th grade Thursdays in room 15).
4th and 5th Grade PM (afternoon) students will eat lunch prior to coming to Montrose at 11:30 a.m. for Orchestra. 4th graders will go directly to the gymnasium on Mondays and PM 5th graders will go directly to music room 15.
Is your child participating in childcare before or after school?
We've partnered with Bexley Parks and Recreation and the Jewish Community Center (JCC) to provide a smooth transition and schedule for your child including learning at school, lunch, transportation, and learning at childcare.
BEXLEY PARKS AND RECREATION CHILDCARE
Morning (AM) students participating in Bexley Park and Recreation will learn at Montrose in the mornings, eat lunch at Montrose, and then be transported to St. Alban's for Bexley Parks and Recreation PM program. If your child does not pack and wants to order a school lunch, they need to let their teacher know first thing in the morning when they arrive. Students will eat lunch between 11:05-12:00 p.m. in our cafeteria and be supervised by Montrose staff until their transportation arrives at noon to go to St. Alban's for the afternoon.
Afternoon (PM) students participating in Bexley Park and Recreation will be begin their day and eat lunch at St. Alban's. They'll be transported and arrive at noon at Montrose for their afternoon session of learning. Montrose staff will supervise them in the cafeteria and then take them to their classroom at 12:15 p.m.
JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER (JCC) CHILDCARE
Morning (AM) students participating in the Jewish Community Center (JCC)'s child care will learn at Montrose in the mornings. Teachers will take these students to the cafeteria at morning dismissal to wait for the JCC bus with Montrose staff. The bus will transport them to the JCC at 11:30 to eat lunch and be a part of their afternoon childcare program.
Afternoon (PM) students participating in the Jewish Community Center (JCC)'s child care will begin their day at the JCC will be transported to Montrose at 11:30 a.m. These students will eat lunch in the cafeteria. Montrose staff will supervise them in the cafeteria and then take them to their classroom at 12:15 p.m.
