About Troop 166
For over 75 years, Troop 166 has provided the iconic BSA program to the young men of Bexley,
graduating over 100 Eagle Scouts. Starting in 2019, we are adding a new Troop for young
women ages 11-17, which will share resources and adult leadership with the existing Troop
and offer the same program but will be led by the new Troop’s all-female youth membership.
Another opportunity in Bexley is the new Venturing Crew. Venturing provides a co-ed option
for young men and women ages 14-20 in a less formal program for outdoor adventure.
We emphasize the BSA’s time tested, youth-led model in all of our activities.
We go on an outdoor adventure every month and earn service hours year round.
We have fun, and lots of it!
Troop meetings are held weekly on Monday nights from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
at Bexley United Methodist Church.
