Kindergarten Registration

Bexley offers free, all-day kindergarten for all students who turn five years of age on or before August 1 of the year that they enroll in kindergarten. Families must live within the City of Bexley boundaries in order to experience the Bexley Schools education program.

Kindergarten registration is coming soon at each of Bexley’s three elementary schools. Every student, even one whose siblings already attend Bexley Schools, should be registered at the school he or she will attend. The child does not have to accompany the parent/guardian to register.

Fall 2017 registration dates are as follows:
Students with last names A-L
Tuesday, March 7         9:00 - 11:00am and 1:00 - 3:00pm

Last names M - Z
Wednesday, March 8    9:00 – 11:00am and 1:00 - 3:00pm

Evening hours are available for parents/guardians who are unable to register during the day: Tuesday, March 7 from 6:00-8:00pm.

Bexley Public Library hosts a panel of early education teachers who will discuss aspects of kindergarten readiness: Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:30 – 7:30pm at the library 2411 East Main Street in Bexley.
