Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yearbooks were not included in picture packages sold in the fall. (This is different from previous years.)  They were a separate order this year.   If you have not ordered a yearbook, your child brought home a flier.  If you have questions about whether or not you have ordered a yearbook, please contact Lifetouch.   Lifetouch.com or 1-877-689-4056.

MAP Student profile reports
Students should have brought MAP winter scores home in their backpacks last week. If for  you did not get your child's report, contact your child's homeroom teacher or Dr Gage to get a co
py.

2nd and 3rd graders anticipate Chickens

Mystery, excitement, and anticipation permeates the second and third grade classrooms as we patiently wait for our chicks to hatch.  Second and third graders are keeping a close eye on the eggs and their development. The children are developing an understanding of life science, engineering, and technology through hands-on, standards-based inquiry lessons.  They are using scientific tools, sharing observations, recording measurement data, reading tables and graphs, and communicating scientific findings on a daily basis.  All of our hard work will soon be rewarded when the first chick emerges from the safety of its shell into our classroom world!
