Team Rules

All runners must have an updated physical and emergency medical form before coming to practice. If the forms have already been submitted online or turned into the athletic office, a hard copy of the emergency medical form will be needed at conditioning. All paperwork and the $50 participation fee is due Mon Aug 1.  Cross Country Team Guidelines

Head Coach Bio

A 1979 graduate of Bexley High School, Coach Eric Acton participated in both Cross Country and Track and Field under the leadership of Coach Russ Owen. He went on to compete in both sports at Capital University.   Mr. Acton began teaching and coaching cross country at Bexley in 1988. He has held the position of Head Coach of Cross Country since 1994. In addition, Coach Acton was the assistant boys track and feld coach from 1987 through 1995, head coach for boys' and girls' track and field from 2000 through 2009, and assistant girls high school basketball coach 1987 - 1999.   In 2004, the OHSAA awarded Coach Acton the state “Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity” award.
