The BCS Online School (BCSOS) is a fully digital learning option for K-12 students within Bexley City Schools who require off-site school placement.
Enrollment in the BCS Online School is meant to be a full semester or full year. It should intentionally be selected by interested families as the best learning environment for their child.
BCSOS is built upon an Ohio-specific curriculum and taught by Ohio-licensed teachers with a streamlined focus on core academics. This narrowed focus enables enrolled students and their families to prioritize attention on critical academic content while addressing family needs that prompted the enrollment in BCSOS.
BCS Online School is not intended to be a digital version of the programming offered in the district’s physical buildings. BCS Online School is a unique school within the district.
Families interested in having their BCS Online School students return to their buildings or families who wish to apply to have their students potentially move to the BCS Online School must submit the Intradistrict Enrollment Application to the Superintendent's Office by April 30 for the fall or December 1 for second semester.Applications will be reviewed and decisions made based on the student's academic progress and social-emotional needs. Decisions to approve or deny transfer requests will be communicated by August 1 for fall applications and December 15 for second semester applications.Online Platform Access
