Get to know us. We’d love to get to know you!

Each Bexley elementary school will hold two Meet & Greet sessions for incoming kindergarten students and their parents/guardians. The dates are:

• Monday, August 5
• Thursday, August 8.

These sessions typically allow us an opportunity to get to know students and their readiness for instruction. These sessions also help with expectations for the first day of school and minimize our youngest students’ first-day jitters!

*Note: Meet & Greet sessions are time for teachers to work with your student for about 1 hour. Parents are welcome to leave and return or wait outside the building. Check with a staff member for direction when dropping off your student. 

The first day of classes during the 2024-2025 school year is Thursday, August 15.

All kindergarten students, though, will have a staggered start:

• Half of the students in a kindergarten class will attend all day on Thursday, August 15
• Half of the students in a kindergarten class will attend all day on Friday, August 16.

*Families will be notified of their kindergartner’s start day by email during the summer.

All kindergarten students will attend on Monday, August 19 for the first time as a full class. All other elementary students in grades 1-5 will attend all day beginning on the first day of classes, Thursday, August 15.
