September 20, 2020
We are ready for the first day of school- the sequel! I have been in education for a long time and I have never experienced two first days of school a month apart but 2020 has a lot of firsts.
Please be sure that you have carefully read through all of the Montrose Hybrid Logistics info (which is the same info sent on Thursday) as well as all of the communication from your child’s teacher. There is a lot to keep track of but we want all of our kids to have a fantastic start to this new learning experience. Requirements for students to attend in-person learning at our elementary school include that parents continue to monitor their children for symptoms of COVID-19, specifically those included in the Bexley Health Pledge, located inside of the BCSD Parent/Student COVID-19 Operations Guide each and every day. Family commitment to these guidelines and purposeful actions will be critical in allowing our schools to stay open for in person learning. We remind you of this each week because it is so important.
Thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do to help your children learn and grow. We are ready to partner with you in a slightly different way as we begin this next learning journey together.
So excited to see our students for their first day tomorrow and Thursday!
