03/15/2024Description: School Counselor (1.0 FTE) beginning in the 2024/2025 school year
Minimum Qualifications:- 5 Year Professional Pupil Services License, experience in high school preferred
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:- Works within the four person counseling department;
- Supports students', academic, social/emotional, and career planning;
- Counselors work directly with students on college planning, where applicable;
- Counselors are Case Managers for students with 504 plans;
- Counselor caseload is determined by alphabetical sort working across all grade levels 9-12;
- Crisis triage and response skills;
- Strong collaborative skills;
- Restorative practices training/skills;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks based on need;
- Ability to cultivate a community that values diversity and equity.
Salary and Range:Commensurate with education and experience
Reports To:Principal of Secondary Schools
