This fall, Bexley City Schools will conduct a Gifted Program Review.  It will be a comprehensive look at the identification and services provided to gifted learners in the district across grades K-12.  The goals of the review are to consider the effectiveness of our existing services and to ensure there is a match between the services and supports available in Bexley City Schools and the needs of our gifted learners within the context of best practice research and state rules.  The review will be conducted by a team consisting of district gifted specialists, classroom teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians.  Over the course of the review, the team will look at information gathered from district data and surveys of students, families, and staff and will examine research from the field of gifted education and Ohio law.  The team will make recommendations to district leadership about future gifted programming in Bexley.  In order to ensure transparency in the process and allow for broader involvement, all materials viewed by the team and notes from the meetings will be posted to this page.
